I currently work at Space Applications Services in Brussels, Belgium.
Previously I was a Research Engineer and PhD student in Computer Science in the LOGIMAS team at the Applied Mathematics and Systems Laboratory (MAS), École Centrale Paris (ECP).
My main research interest is centered around Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Text mining and Ontologies for a high-level understanding of multimedia documents.
More specifically, I work on:
- the integration of A Priori Knowledge in Content-Based Image Annotation (CBIA) systems for the semantic annotation of images,
- the sense-tagging of Machine Learning datasets for improving Content-Based Image Retrieval (CBIR),
- the modeling of image annotations using ontologies in an indexing framework.
Demo: online demonstrator of the automatic annotation method MMG/RWR with LabelMe data used in this paper. (with a bit noisy vocabulary and a small learning dataset - 18k images / ~4k keywords - due to limited computing resources, a better model will be uploaded soon... ).
